Oh, my sweet little boy is getting to be an old man. Elvis is 10 and has been with me for eight years. As I sit here and listen to him snore, I can't imagine not having his beautiful mug around.

Couples Shower [Tricia Owens, Indianapolis Photographer]

One of my bestest friends is getting married near San Francisco in August, and I can't wait. She is marrying one of the coolest guys...they are perfect for each other! We had a couples shower for them this weekend here near Indianapolis. Here are a few pics from the event.

Shannon - 2010 Senior Rep Sneak Peek

Shannon and I spent a great (albeit chilly) morning in the Carmel Arts & Design district today! Here is a little sneak peek...she is totally a natural. The camera loves her!

Published!

I've been waiting with great anticipation to receive my new issue of Lightleaks Magazine in the mail...it finally came! One of my photos was chosen by the editors to appear in the magazine. It is one I took several years ago on SR-67 near McCordsville of an old hotel sign. I loved the retro look of it and actually drove over to take the photo with my good friend Audra. The next week, it had been demolished, so I got there just in time. It is one of my favorite shots I've taken to date.



Lightleaks Magazine is a quarterly publication dedicated to "low fidelity" photography. It features images taken by cameras that some consider toy cameras. My image was taken with a Holga camera. I love my Holga camera for its unpredictability...I never know what I'm going to get back from the lab.

This is our spazarific boxer, Wrigley. I just had this blown up for my husband for our anniversary. She's a nut, but we love her. :)
